SCUBA DIVING
There are many Scuba Diving options on the island. Here are our suggestions for a safe, reputable shop which will ensure you will have a wonderful experience.
Bottom Time Divers (Raul)
This is the shop we dive with and are very happy with! Small fast 6-pack boat, and wonderful divemaster.

OTHER THINGS TO DO IN PARADISE:
• Sailing!!! Not to miss! Day/Sunset sail trip. We know Dario well, he is a great guy! Includes snorkeling in a fabulous area only accessible by boat. 987-113-2774 Kim’s cel number. http://www.cozumelboattrip.com and Facebook @adelaidesailing

• Stand Up Paddle Board

• Kite Boarding
• Punta Sur Light House — This is another great place to explore... at the tip of the island. Really beautiful beach!

You will need a car to get there. I would highly recommend renting a car for a day or two to explore. The beaches on the windward side of the island are just beautiful. Nothing over there other than beach, and a few palapa restaurants open only during the daytime. You wouldn't want to miss this. You can also get a taxi to take you if you prefer not to drive.
If you decide to rent a car, this is who we usually use for the best rate, though only when booked online. In Cozumel, ACE uses Enterprise, so that is who the car will actually come from. Hertz and Avis are also available at the airport. You MUST take the liability insurance, it is not optional. In Mexico the gringos are always at fault! http://www.acerentacar.com/
EL OTRO LADO (the east side of the island):
Some beach clubs we enjoy on the other side, open only during daylight hours.
Rasta Bar—good food, reasonably priced
Coconuts—best views and photo ops on the east side, good food and drink, try the Sangria, more expensive than others but worth a stop
Punta Moreno—great beach club with pool, beach, restaurant, a local favorite
Chen Rio—typical beach club with shallow pools in the ocean for young children, favorite place for local families with children, restaurant
and beach.
